Austrian Post's Stamp Subscriptions.
Stamp subscriptions are a convenient way of collecting new issues by Austrian Post. By enrolling in our stamp subscriptions program, you will enjoy many exclusive advantages:
- You won't miss any new issues and your collection will always be complete and up-to-date.
- You will receive an exclusive free gift for subscribers once a year.
- You will always be informed about the latest news and developments, thanks to the renowned professional journal "Die Briefmarke" ("The Stamp"), which is sent to you along with our customer magazine.
- Every year for Christmas, you will receive a Christmas greeting card from Austrian Post with the special postmark from our post office in Christkindl.
All new subscribers will receive confirmation of their subscription along with their customer number. Your subscription will then be valid for an indefinite period of time; the minimum subscription period is one year.
Our four shipping options:
- Pre-issue subscription: This subscription includes stamps in mint condition, not yet valid for postage and/or cancelled stamps only. You will receive a maximum of 12 items per year. The pre-issue day usually applies to stamps that have their issue/first day the following month.
- Issue/first day: All issues of a pre-issue day are collected and sent out after the last day of issue (maximum of 12 items per year). Cancelled stamps show the date and local postmark of Vienna and the day of issue. First day covers bear the stamp's official special postmark.
- Quarterly subscription: Every three months, you will receive a shipment including the latest issues of the quarter. Cancelled articles will show the date and local postmark of Vienna and the corresponding issue date. First day covers bear the stamp's official special postmark.
- Semi-annual subscription: Shipments will include all new issues of the six months in question. This subscription may include all articles in mint condition and cancelled (location and date postmark of Vienna including the corresponding date of issue). First day covers bear the stamp's official special postmark. Articles will be sent out between June and October and between December and April.
