Quick and easy at-home franking with parcel stamps

Create your stamp for your parcel here - the process of creating an online parcel stamp that fits your needs is quick and easy. The sum of the parcel's longest and shortest side will determine the postage. Please note that no merchandise worth more than 510 euros may be sent with parcel stamps. This is the maximum insurance coverage for the parcel.
  1. Click on Create parcel stamp.
  2. Select the desired shipping option (standard up to 10 kg or express parcel stamp up to 31.5 kg)
  3. Enter your parcel's dimensions.
  4. Add optional additional services (recipient information via e-mail or personal delivery). Please note that not all additional services are available and that certain items may not be posted with parcel stamps (see FAQ Parcel Stamps).
  5. Enter the recipient and the sender.
  6. As an option, you can upload an image or a logo that will be printed on the parcel stamp.
  7. At the checkout, you can select one of many payment options.
  8. Print your parcel stamp and affix it to your parcel's largest surface (15 x 21 cm minimum).
  9. Drop your item off at an Österreichische Post service location near you or choose collection from your home.
  10. View the status of your package in the "Send my items" section

Parcel stamp rates, standard delivery

The rate depends on the parcel’s size. The maximum weight per parcel is 10 kg.

Explanation: 
PM is the abbreviation of "parcel stamp" in German. 

PM 45 means: 
The sum of the parcel's longest and shortest side = 45 cm maximum.

PM 70 means: 
The sum of the parcel's longest and shortest side = 70 cm maximum.

PM 120 means: 
The sum of the parcel's longest and shortest side = 120 cm maximum.

Exempt from tax as part of universal services.
Universal services means: all citizens in the entire country of Austria have the right to use Austrian Post’s major services at an inexpensive rate. This includes sending letters and parcels.
Rates include the road toll of 0.24 euros (Austria) or 0.37 euros (Germany and EU countries) (exempt from VAT). 

Parcel stamp rates, express delivery

The rate depends on the parcel’s size. The maximum weight per parcel is 31.5 kg.
Express delivery is only available within Austria.

Attention! No parcels may be sent to EU overseas territories or to countries that are not part of the EU customs or fiscal territory. These include, for example, Greenland, Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Channel Islands, etc.

Please note: 
make sure your parcel does not exceed the maximum weight! Parcel stamps can be purchased online or at a franking machine. Higher rates will be charged for parcel stamps purchased at franking machines in self-service areas.
