Changes to products and new rates as of 1 September 2023

As of 1 September 2023, there will be changes to the product range of domestic and international letter mail.

All letters posted in one of the more than 14,000 yellow letterboxes will then have a delivery time of two to three working days. Therefore, stamps will only be available for ECO letters. PRIO items can still be posted at all Austrian Post service locations and in self-service areas.

The product letter S will be added to the Economy international letter mail category.

As of 1 September 2023, all additional domestic services (registered mail, item tracking as well as RSa/RSb -  letters with advice of receipt letter from authorities) will also be available for ECO letter items. International additional services will continue to be available for PRIO letters only.

This gives letter-mail clients even greater freedom of choice to select the right rate for their specific mailing requirements.

As of 1 September 2023, the additional domestic service "Sender information" will no longer be available.

Furthermore, we will adjust our rates as of 1 September 2023.

Since this additional service was expanded to include ECO letter mail, there was a change regarding the advertising material. For hybrid letters with advice of receipt, the technical specifications have changed.
