Declaration of discontinuance and declaration of commitment

In 2019, Österreichische Post AG (hereinafter referred to as "Österreichische Post") irrevocably and fully (physically) deleted the marketing classifications "party affiliation" and "Sinus Geo Milieus" discussed in the media from its marketing database. Rest assured that Österreichische Post will refrain from processing these marketing classifications in the future.

To substantiate this assurance, we are providing the general cease-and-desist declaration for download in the download section until further notice. You also have the option of requesting a personalised and executable cease-and-desist declaration issued as an enforceable notarial act, which we will send to you in the mail within four weeks. Please send your request to Österreichische Post AG, Post-Kundenservice/customer service, Datenschutzbeauftragte/data protection officer, Bahnsteggasse 17-23, 1210 Vienna or e-mail us at datenschutz-unterlassung@post.at.

For us to be able to send you a personalised cease-and-desist declaration issued as an enforceable notarial act, we kindly ask you to provide your first name, last name, date of birth and your full mailing address. Without this data, we cannot handle your request and will delete it immediately.

Data provided to you will be processed by Österreichische Post for the purpose of handling your request and will subsequently be deleted. Österreichische Post will not keep a copy of the notarial act and will request a notarial copy from the responsible notary only to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
