To better unite team and spirit, we have thoroughly explored our new work reality.

Welcome to the new normal at Austrian Post! We have combined the best of both worlds: remote work and office presence.

In addition to team days to foster social interaction, our appreciation-driven feedback culture includes annual and occasion-based performance reviews as well as the opportunity for 360-degree feedback. We equip employees and executives with the necessary tools to successfully conduct these conversations.

Our employees are our success. Around 20,000 people from 103 nations work together in 240 different professions.

Balancing daily work with caregiving, nursing, and other private commitments is a challenge. This is why we focus on flexibility.

In many areas of work, employees have the opportunity to work flexible hours, part-time, and increasingly from home.

Options range from active parental leave management, parent-child office, and holiday childcare to parental leave buddies and nationwide parental leave breakfasts.

We are getting closer to our goal: by 2030, the share of women in leadership positions should rise to at least 40%. Currently, the percentage of women is over 35%.

 

Climate and protection #makingthingshappen

Climate action and protection are pioneering efforts for us. Austrian Post was the first postal company to guarantee CO2-neutral delivery to its customers. Graz became the first state capital to offer CO2-neutral delivery in 2022. Salzburg and Innsbruck followed in autumn 2024, and Vienna is set to follow by 2025. We already operate the largest electric fleet in the country with around 2,500 electric vehicles.

And that's not all – Austrian Post is also one of the largest operators of photovoltaic systems in the country.

With our new product, Post Loop, online shops can send their products in reusable packaging. This packaging can successfully complete up to 30 shipping cycles. Post Loop boxes and bags come in various sizes and are made from wood pulp and recycled PET. This is how we operate sustainably.
